The UCLA Program in Global Health engages in policy research and advocacy to ensure that societies identify and address underlying social and economic issues such as unequal education and economic opportunities for women, barriers to implementation of effective prevention programs, lack of access to prevention services, and inadequate international financing of HIV/AIDS programs in the developing world.
