With generous support from the Dean’s Office and UCLA Health International Services, the Global Health Program annually sponsors two distinct funding opportunities.

Aparna
Collaboration in Action: UCLA faculty Dr. Aparna Sridhar (center) led a hands-on simulation workshop with residents from NMMC as part of a Global Health Collaboration Grant, strengthening clinical skills and building partnerships across borders.

The Global Health Seed Grant is intended to support multidisciplinary teams to conduct research in low- and middle-income countries that demonstrate promise to address important health questions relevant to the local community and strengthen the capacity and skills of early-career investigators at UCLA and partner institutions to successfully compete for future funding.
